As a wildlife conservationist, I appreciate the peaceful surroundings that encourage morning reflections and afternoon relaxation. The inn features thoughtfully decorated rooms, and while ours had a private bathroom across the hall, it was spacious and well-maintained. The outdoor sitting area is particularly charming, perfect for evening sunsets over the water. In terms of value, Dunlop Inn stands out with its inclusive breakfast, which featured delightful homemade Cape Breton baked goods, creating a culinary experience without the high cost often associated with luxury stays. the provision of free wi-fi and ample parking adds to its practicality for travelers. While there are components of luxury here, particularly in the welcoming atmosphere created by the owners, the overall value is commendable for the pricing, making Dunlop Inn an excellent choice for those wishing to explore the Cabot Trail without splurging excessively.
